Women’s History Month may have come to an end, but that’s not a reason to stop celebrating women’s achievements. Especially since women in music continue to face obstacles and an enormous lack of inclusion in the industry.

The IWD organization believes that “a challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change.” The following female musicians have each embodied that very phrase by refusing to back down from sexist interview questions.
